Modern Family patriarch Ed O'Neill is also set to make his return to TV with miniseries The Sterling Affairs, an upcoming sports drama. Vergara has made her way back to TV, starring as savvy Colombian businesswoman and the 'Godmother of Cocaine' Griselda Blanco in Netflix's Griselda,which is expected to release late this year. Many other cast members, including Burrell, Bowen, and Ariel Winter, have acted in several movies as well as doing voice-over acting since Modern Family wrapped. Since the conclusion of Modern Family, several of the show's stars have branched out in their careers to do something very different from the long-running sitcom, like Ferguson returning to the theater.
